JASMINE

The M-class IR satellite for astrometry in Japan, JASMINE, plans to observe the Galactic bulge. JASMINE also plans to survey transiting planets around late M-type stars during about half of observing period when JASMINE cannot observe the budge. We aim to detect habitable transiting planets around such stars, which should be best targets for characterization by ground-based large telescopes such as TMT and space observatory such as JWST and Ariel. Through JASMINE, we would open space science of exoplanets in Japan for the first time.
